Preparation
Adding Water – Reconstitute dry or concentrated food by adding water to return it to its original firmness or consistency.
Preparation: Follow the instructions carefully when preparing the formula. Improper preparation or storage for an extended period can lead to health issues, such as the growth of undesirable bacteria. Therefore, always prepare the formula fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftovers. Thoroughly clean the bottle, nipple, and ring. Reseal the opened pouch well, store it in a dry place at room temperature, and use it within 3 weeks. Do not warm the formula in the microwave (risk of burns).
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to approximately 40°- 50°C*.
- Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see table) into a bottle.
- Measure the recommended amount of powder (see table). Loosely fill the measuring spoon and level it off. Add the powder to the water.
- Close the bottle and shake it vigorously several times.
- Let it cool to drinking temperature, approximately 37°C. Check the temperature, for example, with a HiPP thermometer.
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), do not prepare the formula with water that is too hot. The powder may have natural color variations due to the raw ingredients.
Drinking Amount and Dosage: The amount consumed per bottle may vary individually. The recommended drinking amounts and the number of bottles per day are guidelines. Your baby does not necessarily need to finish the bottle. Please use only the enclosed measuring spoon! For one measuring spoon of powder, you will need 30 ml of water. 1 leveled measuring spoon = approximately 4.7 g of HiPP HA 2 COMBIOTIK®.
- 150 ml boiled water + 5 measuring spoons = 170 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
- 180 ml boiled water + 6 measuring spoons = 200 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
- 210 ml boiled water + 7 measuring spoons = 235 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
Babies need about 5 meals per day. With each new introduction of jar food or porridge, one bottle meal should be omitted.
Storage Instructions
Reseal the opened pouch tightly, store it in a dry place at room temperature, and use it within 3 weeks.
