Preparation Instructions
Adding Water – Bring dry or concentrated food back to its original consistency by adding water.
Please follow the preparation instructions carefully. Improper preparation or storing prepared bottles for long periods of time can lead to health issues, such as the growth of unwanted germs. Therefore, always prepare fresh food before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, nipple, and ring thoroughly. Do not warm the food in the microwave (risk of burns).
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to around 40 - 50°C*.
- Pour the desired amount of cooled boiled water (see chart) into the bottle.
- Measure the recommended amount of powder (see chart). Fill the scoop loosely and level it off. Add the powder to the water.
- Close the bottle and shake it vigorously several times.
- Cool to drinking temperature of about 37°C. Check the temperature.
*To protect the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), do not prepare the food with water that is too hot.
Drinking Amount and Dosage:
Every baby is different. The amount of milk per bottle can vary significantly. The recommended drinking amount and number of portions per day are guidelines. Your baby does not need to drink the entire bottle. Always use the provided scoop! One scoop corresponds to 30 ml of water.
Example Dosages:
- 1 level scoop = approx. 4.5 g of HiPP 3 BIO COMBIOTIK®
- 150 ml of boiled water + 5 scoops of powder = 170 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
- 180 ml of boiled water + 6 scoops of powder = 200 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
- 210 ml of boiled water + 7 scoops of powder = 235 ml of ready-to-drink formula.
Babies generally need around 5 meals per day. With the introduction of solid foods and pureed meals, a bottle meal should be replaced accordingly.
Storage Instructions
Store in a dry place at room temperature. After opening the bag, reseal it tightly, store it in a dry place at room temperature, and use it within 3 weeks.
